Easystudy is a mobile app that permits researchers to conduct state-of-the-art ecological momentary assessments (EMA). For instance, easystudy can record verbal protocols in naturalistic contexts that can automatically be transcribed using AI-based algorithms. The latter may then be processed using large languge models (LLMs) to study people's representations of everyday situations (e.g., whether or not to share data to access an online service; what is the risk for online fraud on a specific website; etc.). The easystudy app and underlying framework have been developed by Cognitive and Behavioral Decision Research (CBDR), University of Zurich.
